the 4th Great
Florida Gulf Coast Small Craft Festival

Announcing... the 4th Great Florida Gulf Coast Small Craft Festival at Cortez.  It'll be great if you help to make it so.  Come on down!  There will be lots of activities on the water and on the land ... fun for the entire family.

Florida's Gulf coast is known for its lovely sugar sand beaches, remarkable shelling, crystal clear turquoise waters.  The best time of the year on the west coast is Spring, which is well along by April.  Humidity is low.  Sunsets are beautiful as seen out over the Gulf of Mexico to the west.  Bugs hardly come out until the rainy season later on.  Hurricanes aren't due in town for months.  Sailing breezes are just about perfect.  Manatee County is all that and more.  Come sail, row, or paddle your classic or traditional boat with us in Cortez, a unique Florida Gulf Coast Fishing Community.   If you don't have your own boat, come anyway, borrow one of ours, and find out what  all the fun is about!!
